Gravity Concentration Plays an Essential Role for Ore Beneficiation Plants

The gravity concentration also called the gravity separation is famous for its features of low production cost, simple structure, little pollution and strong flexibility to the environment, so it is favored all over the world in the ore beneficiation industry. The gravity concentration plays an essential role for the ore beneficiation plants at home and abroad.

The gravity concentration process of minerals is made up of three main stages, namely the preparation stage, grading stage and the product processing stage.

The preparation stage consists of three steps: 1. Crushing and grinding materials to realize the monomer separation of the minerals. 2. To wash and remove dirt of the minerals with sticky matter or clay. 3. Using the screening or water grading method to grade the materials according to their particle sizes.

The grading stage is the most important step in the ore beneficiation process and there are countless grading processes with simple or complicated operation.

The product processing stage refers to the dehydration of the final concentrate as well as the transportation and storage of the tailings.
